With the primary results calculated, the Associated Students of the University of Arizona are one step closer to a new set of officers for the 2016-2017 academic school year.
Moving on to the general elections, presidential candidate Michael Finnegan came out with 1,296 votes and a majority vote of 54.5 percent. Following in second is for the presidential bid is Hannah White, with 543 votes and minority of 23.07 percent.
