Hot 98.3 celebrates the ten year anniversary of Sunday Nite Slow Jams
LIVE with a concert this Sunday night,
of course!
A spinoff of the radio show Sunday
Nite Slow Jams, which airs on 50 other
radio stations nationally, this blowout
concert will feature ten of the most popular artists currently played on the show.
“”We wanted to do something really big
for the ten year anniversary,”” said R Dub,
host and creator of Sunday Nite Slow
Jams. “”So why not bring ten artists?””
This year Bobby Valentino, who is
featured in Lil Wayne’s song “”Mrs.
Officer””, joins the lineup and ladiesman
Ginuwine returns to perform at the concert for a second time.
“”Ginuwine is pure sex appeal, he makes the ladies go nuts,”” R Dub said.””All of our female listeners were begging to see him again.”” Others artists include Jagged Edge, M.C. Magic, Frankie J., Case, Amanda Perez, Pleasure P, Slim of 112 and Bell Biv Devoe.
“”It’s going to provide for an amazing night,”” R Dub said. “”The people are really going to get their money’s worth. It’s going to be an all nighter!””
Ten years ago, Sunday Nite Slow Jams LIVE was first held in Marana at the New West Night Club.
“”It is amazing to think that it went from a club with a capacity of about 1,000 people to selling out the Tucson Convention Center Arena,”” R Dub said.
R Dub will return to his hometown and host Sunday Nite Slow Jams LIVE at the
Tucson Convention Center Arena this Sunday.
“”This show is going to be a once in a lifetime event and is something that
no one should miss,”” R Dub said. “”People will be talking about it for a very long time.””
