Arizona offensive lineman Zach Hemmila’s cause of death was released today in an autopsy report from the Pima County Medical Examiners Office. The report listed Hemmila’s death as accidental, citing the combined toxic effects of the perscription oxymorphone and alprazolam.
Oxymorphone is a pain killer and alprazolam is used to cure anxiety disorders and panic disorders.
Hemmila died in his sleep on Aug. 8.
