- Drake is the son of Dennis Graham, a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis and the nephew of musicians Larry Graham and Teenie Hodges.
- Drake’s parents divorced when he was 5 years old.
- Drake was raised by his mother in Toronto’s wealthy Forest Hill neighborhood but stayed mostly with his father in Memphis, Tenn., during the summer.
- Drake attended high school at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute where he began acting, but never graduated.
- Drake is known mostly for playing the role of Jimmy Brooks in “”Degrassi: The Next Generation,”” as a basketball star
- who became physically disabled after he was shot by a classmate.
