Similar to a lot of collegiate programs in the country, Arizona men’s basketball will have to wait a little longer to start its season. Wednesday’s season opener against NAU, originally scheduled for Nov. 25, was postponed on Monday, Nov. 23, after a positive COVID-19 test was found within the Lumberjacks basketball program, according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium Basketball Insider.
It is unknown if this game will be rescheduled at some point. The Wildcats will now begin its 2020-21 season against Grambling State University on Friday, Nov. 27, at 3 p.m. MST.
This story will be updated with more information as it is released.
