The Commitment to an Athlete’s Total Success staff selected freshman Courtney Clements (women’s basketball), freshman Hanna Henson (women’s cross country), redshirt junior Adam Grant and redshirt senior Joe Longacre (football) as the Student-Athletes of the Month for September.

Some of the criteria the C.A.T.S. Academics staff look for in the student’s academic performance include: improvement, outstanding effort, overall scholastic performance and consistent citizenship through personal character, integrity and role-model actions.

“”It goes without saying, but it’s really nice to say, that outstanding academic performance by our student-athletes is among the most noteworthy accomplishments anyone reaches in Wildcats athletics,”” Arizona athletics director Jim Livengood said in a press release. “”We set goals like this for all of our athletes to reach, and championing the ones who are successful is the best part of any day.””
