Charges dropped in both ‘chalking’ citations

UA officials are in the process of dismissing charges against two students who were cited for making chalk drawings on campus.

A release from Paul G. Allvin, associate vice president for communications, said that President Robert Shelton has asked UAPD to avoid citing students for similar incidents in the future.

Instead, Shelton has suggested students be referred to the Dean of Students Office as a possible code of conduct violation.
