“On the spot: Erik Christenson, engineering junior”

Have you registered for classes yet?

    Yes I have.

If you could take a class on anything in the entire world, what class would you want to take?

Oh man, some class that took me all over the world I guess, you know.

What country would you want to go to?

You know, I have always wanted to go to Italy, actually.

    Do you speak Italian?

    Not a bit.

Do you speak any other languages?

I speak a little bit of Spanish. That is it.

What is the coolest thing you can say in Spanish?

I can’t say it on recording.

Did you start here or did you transfer?

I actually have a degree already from Penn State.

What was your degree from Penn State?

My degree at Penn State was actually in Archaeology.

So if you were digging anywhere in the world, where would you want to dig, what would you want to find and what would you do with it after you found it?

That would probably Italy, which is why I would want to go to Italy and dig up
Roman ruins. That would be pretty fascinating, I think.

    Roman ruins, like a human?

You know, I have dug up human remains before, but no, I would like to see the villas they have there where the wealthy people had their homes with all the tile and everything. I think that would be very interesting to dig up.
