A strong-armed robbery involving a UA male employee occurred in Highland Garage at 9:14 a.m. on Feb. 28.
The employee was in the garage, when a “dark skin” male in his late 20s approached and robbed him of personal property.
The suspect was described to have a tattoo of “possibly a rose” on his left hand and was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with an orange logo on the left sleeve with faded blue jeans, according to the University of Arizona Police Department campus watch alert.
No weapons were “seen or implied” by the suspect before he fled down the northeast stairwell of Highland Avenue Parking Garage on foot.
More information will be released when appropriate, as to not “compromise the integrity of the investigation,” said Juan Alvarez, UAPD public information officer, who didn’t disclose any motives behind the incident.
The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects or witnesses.
