Vote on design for new restaurant in union

UA community members can vote on the name and design of a new restaurant featuring salads that will take the place of Replay in the Student Union Memorial Center. To vote on a design, visit http://www.union.arizona.edu/vote by April 11. Voters are eligible for a free VIP invitation and meal at the grand opening.

Work for World Care

World Care, a nonprofit based in Tucson, is looking for a summer and fall internto design the organization’s Web site and assist in the creation of a database connecting nonprofits across the nation. The intern will receive his or her own desk in the intern lair at World Care, witty banter from co-interns and limited affection from Einstein the cat. U.S. lab to build world’s strongest magnet

Florida State University, with Germany’s Hahn-Meitner Institute, will build an $8.7 million hybrid magnet, which will be the strongest in the world for neutron experiments, eclipsing the 15-telsa system now at the institute. When completed in 2011, the high-field magnet will produce a field between 25 and 30 tesla, more than 500,000 times stronger than the Earth’s magnetic field.
