    Three things to know today

    1. The Phoenix Mission’s Science Operation Center is now giving Saturday tours to the public. So far, over 20,000 people have visited the center and got a 30-minute overview of the mission.

    2. Twenty-seven years ago today, the Voyager 2 spacecraft encountered the planet Saturn. Eight years later, the spacecraft encountered Neptune.

    3. La Paz County, located on the Arizona-California border and home to the Colorado River Indian Reservation, has the country’s oldest population, according to U.S. Census Bureau.
