To Shelton, Livengood:
Fire Stoops
After painfully watching my beloved Wildcats lose another game to our hated rivals from Tempe, I have come to the conclusion that the only solution for Arizona football’s resurgence is to fire Mike Stoops. Every year Stoops’ teams have the same trends – they lose to inferior teams early in the season, follow up with a big win against a better team in November, and then culminate with a loss to Tempe Normal College in which the players play uninspired football.
Stoops just doesn’t get it. He once said that the Duel in the Desert is just another game and that the Texasð-Oklahoma rivalry is more important. Is this a man that we want leading Arizona football? We need a head coach that will inspire his players and be a true leader, not just a guy that stands on the sidelines and screams at officials. I implore you President Shelton and A.D. Livengood, fire Mike Stoops immediately. The future of Arizona’s once proud football program depends on it.
