NaNoWriMo: Week three brings writer’s block

Guess who is a complete failure. Spoiler alert: it’s me.

I wrote maybe 700 words this week. Completely under the goal by about 10,000 words.

I know I had previously mentioned that I would spend the holiday from school making up the difference. That didn’t happen.

Perhaps it is writer’s block. Perhaps I am simply lazy.

It seems to be a combination of the two along with several other factors (like the fact that I spent my Thursday evening watching a documentary for one of my classes).

Good news is, I had also mentioned before that my story is in three parts. I found a nifty little diagram on the Internet that is supposedly supposed to act as a guideline for writing stories in three parts, so I am going to use it loosely in an attempt to get this story written.

I suppose I should be glad I was able to get myself to write anything at all.

I really don’t know what else to say now, other than I need to place an unofficial request for a task master. I am currently seeking an individual to make sure I write 1,500+ words a day in the month of November. Can not provide compensation but willing to pay in some form of food.

    Until then.
