  • Free glaucoma screening. Volunteer ophthalmologists from the UA as well as medical and nurse practitioner students from the colleges of medicine and nursing will perform eye pressure and blood pressure measurements, visual acuity exams and peripheral vision checks. 1:30-5 p.m. University Physicians Healthcare Hospital Outpatient Clinics, 2800 E. Ajo Way.
  • Faculty artist series. Tim McAllister will perform pieces on the saxophone with accompaniment. 7:30 p.m. Crowder Hall.
  • Graduate writing workshop. Victoria

    Eugene Sander will “”set an example for us by enjoying the beauty of our campus while getting some physical activity”” by
    inviting people to come along with him on the Olive Tree walk. Noon to 12:30 p.m. In front of the band shell on the UA Mall, just east of Old Main.
