In Friday’s Arizona Daily Wildcat, a teaser on the front page mistakenly stated that the gymnastics and swim and dive teams were headed for Pacific 10 Conference tournaments. In fact, swim and dive competed in the NCAA Championships over the weekend.
The cutline accompanying the photo of Vice President Dick Cheney on Friday’s front page should have read, “”Vice President Dick Cheney voices his support of Sen. Jon Kyl for re-election to a Tucson crowd at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa Thursday evening. The crowd was gathered as a fundraising effort to help Kyl’s campaign, which raised more than $500,000.””
