After defeating Texas Tech by a score of 10-2 on Sunday, the Arizona softball team will advance to host a NCAA Super Regional against either Oklahoma.
The Super Regional, to be held next weekend at Hillenbrand Stadium, will be a best-of-three series. It will also be Arizona’s sixth time hosting a Super Regional, and the Wildcats’ seventh trip in the seven-year history of the round.
Sophomore pitcher Kenzie Fowler earned a win in all three of eighth-seeded Arizona’s games over the weekend while the Wildcats outscored their opponents 28-2.
