PASADENA, Calif. – In Saturday’s loss to UCLA, sophomore linebacker Hank Hobson went down with a neck injury in pursuit of a tackle with 12:55 remaining in the fourth quarter of Arizona’s 66-10 loss to UCLA. On the play, Hobson appeared to grab his shoulder and collapsed to the Rose Bowl turf. He was removed from the field on a stretcher by the Pasadena Fire Department and was kept at a nearby hospital overnight for precautionary measures. Hobson was released and returned to Tucson on Sunday.

Head coach Rich Rodriguez told reporters after the game that Hobson had full movement in all extremities before being taken away and that he was just taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
