The Web site for the Arizona Daily Wildcat won the Best of Show Award in the “”large school”” category at the Associated Collegiate Press national journalism convention in Phoenix this weekend.
DailyWildcat.com received a facelift before the start of the fall 2009 semester along with an upgrade to the site’s content management system and a cosmetic redesign by former Web director Bryan Roy, who is currently a men’s basketball beat reporter for the Wildcat. Colin Darland is the current Web director.
The Daily Wildcat is a 12,000-circulation publication that prints Monday through Friday during the academic year. DailyWildcat.com is updated several times throughout the day between printing periods.
