The Arizona women’s tennis team has two players with national rankings heading into the upcoming season.
Senior Danielle Steinberg was ranked No. 26 individually by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, which was announced yesterday. Both Steinberg and Claire Rietsch were ranked No. 32 for doubles.
The duo, which went 9-10 last season, was selected to participate in the ITA All-American tournament at the Riveria Country Club in the Los Angeles on Sept. 27. Steinberg qualified for the singles and doubles draw, while Rietsch qualified for doubles with Steinberg.
The Wildcats kick off the fall season on Sept. 19 in the New Mexico Invitational.
