Derrick Williams was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, the league announced today.
Williams and Nic Wise were also named to the all-Pac-10 first team.
The Sporting News also named Derrick Williams to its national all-freshman team with John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins of Kentucky; Xavier Henry of Kansas; and Derrick Favors of Georgia Tech.
