    Syria-sness: Embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad publicly addressed his country on Tuesday, calling continued protests against his regime acts of “terrorism” and blaming the unrest on “external conspiracies.” Al-Assad is absolutely correct in this instance. First, the protesters will want you to stop killing them. Next, they’ll want meaningful government reform! Stand your ground, it worked out so well for other leaders in the region.
