The cornerstone is laid for a presidential residence. In 1800, John Adams became the first president to reside in the executive mansion, which soon became known as the White House.
3. The Winds of Arizona
The UA School of Music will present the Arizona Wind Quintet in its fall concert. The concert is in Holsclaw Hall at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
