The Arizona mens basketball team defeated the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros by a score of 104-50.

The Wildcats leading scorer was Azuolas Tubelis with 20 points. He was incredible from the start of Friday’s game, scoring 16 in the first half of the game. He also brought in nine rebounds on 7-8 shooting from the field.

Christian Koloko was excellent on both sides of the floor tonight, where he blocked five shots while also having a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. His 18 points tonight are good for his colligate career high in points throughout his three years in Tucson.

Arizona turned the ball over a lot in tonight’s game, more than doubling their total (6) from their home opener against NAU with 18.

6th year player, Justin Kier had a great bounce-back game after a mediocre first game. He scored 13 points along with four rebounds on 5-6 shooting from the field.

The Wildcats finished the game with 13 combined blocks and steals and were active on the defensive end of the floor the entire night.

Center Oumar Ballo also added 10 points and six rebounds in only 13 minutes of play.

Arizona’s next game is at McKale Center on Tuesday against North Dakota State at 7:00 P.M.
