Students sought to represent the United States in Mexico
The Student Organization of North America is recruiting students willing to participate in the Triumvirate, the only existing North American model parliament.
The event will take place in Mexico City, Mexico, from May 22-26.
The delegation will comprise four or five students who will represent the country, debate and adopt resolǍutions regarding real issues faced by NAFTA partners.
The deadline to apply is April 10. The $720 will be covered. The only other expense students are responsible for is transportation to Mexico City.

Congressional internships available for summer, fall
Students can receive UA course credit for congressional internships for the summer and fall. Applications are being accepted for the Tucson offices of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), Rep. Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.).
There is also an internship with a Washington, D.C., lobbying group.
Congressional internships can provide an opportunity for students to gain career-related experiences while learning about public service and developing an understanding of the legislative process.
