  • College of Science Edges of Life lecture series. Roy Parker, Regents’ Professor of molecular and cellular biology, will give a lecture on “”Life’s Defining Edge: The Origins of Life.”” 7-8 p.m. Centennial Hall.
  • Eastman Trombone Professor Recital. Guest trombonist John Marcellus will perform with faculty members Michael Dauphinais on piano and Moisés Paiewonsky on trombone, as well as the UA Trombone Ensemble. They will perform works by Brahms, Sulek, Davis, Pryor and more. 7:30 p.m. UA School of Music, Crowder Hall.
  • BIOTeam General Meeting. This club will discuss topics such as a field trip to Biosphere 2, the upcoming club fair and outreach opportunities. 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building, Room 103.
  • American Guild of Organists Concert. Pamela Decker will perform on the organ at Holsclaw Hall. 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. $10.
  • Arizona Athletics Spring Kick-Off Luncheon Event. Wildcat head coaches Mike Candrea, Tad Berkowitz, Fred Harvey, Rick LaRose, Vicky Maes, Shelly Haywood and Andy Lopez will be present at a kickoff luncheon at the Tucson Convention Center. Open to the public. 11:30 a.m. $40. TCC Grand Ballroom.
