    Students celebrate Good Friday today

    Students from different Christian denominations will be gathering on campus for celebration and prayer today in observance of Good Friday.

    The United Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian and Catholic campus ministries will be having an ecumenical Good Friday Stations of the Cross service today.

    Services will begin at the St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center, 1615 E. Second St., at noon and will conclude at around 1 p.m. at the Campus Christian Center, 715 N. Park Ave.

    The services are free and open to students of all denominations and faiths.

    Step show featuring rapper, step groups tomorrow at Centennial

    The Seventh Annual Train Classic Step Show will take place tomorrow on campus.

    The sorority/fraternity step show will feature teams from Arizona, California and Las Vegas competing to see who’s the best.

    The event, which will also feature rapper Bubba Sparxxx, will be at Centennial Hall. The doors open at 2:06 p.m. and the show starts at 3:06 p.m. Tickets are $15 before the show and $20 at the door.

    The event is sponsored by the University Activities Board, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
