• Ndamukong Suh of the Detriot Lions was fined $30,000 by the NFL today for kicking Matt Schaub in the groin against the Texans on Thanksgiving. Suh finds no reason to apologize, claiming the kick was unintentional.

• The word is out, Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers will be replacing Alex Smith as starting quarterback Sunday against the Rams. Smith has been speculated to be out of his job since he suffered a concussion on November 11.
