TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona men’s basketball lost their second straight game at ASU on Saturday. The No. 6 Wildcats’ (20-3, 8-2 Pac-12) six-game winning-streak ended ASU, losing 81-78.
Arizona point guard T.J. McConnell scored 25 points and had four assists. Forward Stanley Johnson scored 16 points despite foul trouble. He fouled out with 40 seconds left.
Arizona shot 45 percent from the field, 38 percent from deep and 57 percent from the free throw line. ASU (12-11, 4-6) shot 50 percent from the field, 47 percent from behind the arc and 79 percent from the charity stripe.
Forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored 14 points and had eight rebounds.
Four Sun Devils scored at least 14 points, with Bo Barnes leading the way with 18 points.
