“On the Spot: Vincent Villella, Pre-business sophomore”

How do you feel about girls and Ugg boots?

I have no problem with them, really. They look fine. I’ve worn some before.

    Girls’ boots?

Well not the girls boots, but Ugg boots when it was freezing cold outside for water polo.

I’ve been getting a lot of negative feedback from guys and their feelings toward girls in Uggs, but you think they look fine?

Yeah, I don’t really criticize girls on their boots.

How old were you when you first found out that Santa was not real?

I figured out myself, like I would sit there and think about it before Christmas, like, there is no way Santa coming down my chimney. But then my mom continued, I think until my senior year of high school, to convince me that Santa was still real and bringing down presents each morning. I was like, “”Mom you are insulting my intelligence, but I’ll just believe for you,”” and so that is what I did.

    Were you heartbroken?

    I wasn’t really.

    You knew it was coming.

Yeah, and the presents were still there so there was no loss, really, besides my inside child.

As a child, who was your favorite holiday character? Easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc.

I’m pretty sure it was definitely Santa since my favorite holiday is still Christmas. But, now that he is gone, I don’t know. I’m a little empty inside.

How do you feel about bike cops?

I’ve never been pulled over by one.

Do you think they have the same level of authority as other cops?

I guess so. I guess the vehicle doesn’t change the cop on it.

How do you feel about mall cops?

Mall cops? I think they are a joke.

How old were you when you got your first ticket?

I was sixteen. I just got my license and I got a speeding ticket on the one road home to my house. I live in San Clemente, so it’s a pretty small city.

Are you going to be leaving your boy Santa cookies or Reese’s this year? I’ve heard Reese’s are the new thing to leave Santa.

I didn’t know that, but I’m going classic. I’m going to leave him cookies and milk.

    Chocolate chip?

Yeah, maybe I’ll give him soy milk. Maybe he’ll enjoy that more.
