    3 things to know

    Last day to vote for Fiesta Bowl Queen

    Today is the last day to vote for the 2006 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Queen. UA students Stephanie Holland, a nursing senior, and Allie Gilliland, a journalism senior, are both vying for the opportunity to represent the Fiesta Bowl. The two other nominees are from ASU. To vote, visit www.fiestabowl.com and click the “”polls”” tab in the right-hand column.

    Costume contest for concert tickets
    Students who wear the most original costumes today can win two tickets to The Fray’s sold-out concert Nov. 9. Costume judging will be in the Cellar Restaurant on the bottom floor of the Student Union Memorial Center today from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

    Pulitzer Prize winner to speak

    Don Bartletti, a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, will give a lecture today at 3 p.m. in Gallagher Theater. Bartletti won the 2003 Pulitzer for feature photography for documenting the lives of Central American immigrants finding their way to the United States. The lecture is part of an exhibit at the UA’s Union Gallery, “”Part of this World: the immigration debate one face at a time,”” on display through Nov. 11.
