Of course, University of Arizona’s women’s soccer won its of games last week in Tempe, but how did the rest of the Pac-12 fare this week?

Weekly Conference Honors:

Goalkeeper of the Week: Kaylie Collins, USC

Collins started two tough games against Florida and Florida State and recorded two clean sheets, making six saves in the process.

Offensive: Emma Eddy, Jr., Oregon

Eddy, Jr. scored three goals, including a game winner. She’s scored in three straight matches, according to Pac-12.com.

Defensive: Sam Hiatt, Stanford

Hiatt played nearly every minute of Stanford’s away wins against BYU and Minnesota. She scored the game winning goal against Minnesota and played a major role in the Cardinal’s back line that allowed only one goal.

Arizona State

1-2 L vs. New Hampshire

4-0 W vs. Southeast Missouri State

The Sun Devils fell short to New Hampshire, a team Arizona beat 2-0 a few days later. ASU also beat Southeast Missouri State by one goal less than the ‘Cats beat them. The Sun Devils are in their first year under head coach Graham Winkworth and need some breathing room before they’re going to compete with the better half of the Pac-12.

University of California, Berkeley

3-1 W vs. San Diego State 

2-3 L ET vs. UC Santa Barbara

The Golden Bears won against SDSU before moving on to play UCSB. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes against UCSB but gave up two goals in the last half hour to force extra time. The Bears gave up the game winner after they failed to clear a ball.

University of Colorado

4-0 W vs. UTSA

3-1 W vs. Iowa State

Tatum Barton has scored six of Colorado’s 16 goals this summer. Even crazier? She’s only played 214 minutes over the course of the season, while Taylor Kornieck, who’s second on the team in goals with two, has played 366.

University of Oregon

2-0 W vs. Dartmouth

2-0 W vs. Gonzaga

The Ducks’ pair of dos a cero victories gets them back on track after going 0-1-1 in match week two.

Oregon State

1-3 L vs. Gonzaga

1-0 W vs. Dartmouth

OSU’s win against Dartmouth was their first of the season, so now all conference teams are in the win column. Furthermore, the Beavers’ two goals bring their total for the season up to three. There are 11 players in the conference, including Arizona’s Jada Talley, that have as many goals as the Beavers. At least the team’s scored more August goals than the world’s best striker, Harry Kane.

2-0 W @ BYU

2-1 W ET @ Minnesota

The Cardinal fared well on its first true road trip of the season and maintain its top ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

#7 UCLA

0-0 D 2ET @ Florida

1-4 L @ Florida State

The Bruins’ travels to the Sunshine State were rather disappointing, as UCLA couldn’t score versus Florida’s weaker team and then were leveled by the Florida State team, the same one that knocked Arizona out of the tournament last year. UCLA dropped from second to seventh in the Coaches Poll.

#4 USC

3-0 W @ Florida

0-0 D @ Florida State

While UCLA stumbled on their Florida trip, USC absolutely crushed it. The Trojans did a number against Florida, then played Florida State, a top ten team, to a draw at home. USC continues to look dangerous.

Utah

1-1 D 2ET @ UC Irvine

1-2 L 2ET @ #16 Kansas

Utah’s results from this past week may look rather weak, especially their draw at Irvine, but don’t fault the Utes. They played two good teams on the road and played over 100 minutes in both games. These two matches could be a spring board for Utah, just like matches against Texas Tech and FGCU turned a page for the ‘Cats last season.

University of Washington

1-2 L ET vs. Wisconsin

1-1 D 2ET vs. Michigan State

The Huskies had a very disappointing Husky Nike Invitational. UW hosted two decent teams  — Wisconsin was the first team left off the Coaches Poll this past week  —  but Washington needs to perform better, especially at home.

#17 Washington State

2-1 W @ Nebraska

Wazzu only played one game in match week three and face the possibility that they’ll only play seven non-conference games, thanks to a postponed match against Iowa that may or may not be played by the time conference play rolls around in a few weeks.
