An opening 12-0 run in the second half carried Arizona to a dominating 87-57 win over USC (10-16, 2-12 Pac-12) on the night Arizona great Jason Terry had his jersey retired.
Kaleb Tarczewski was one of six Wildcats (23-3, 11-2 Pac-12) to finish in double-digits. He joined USC forward Malik Martin in tallying a game-high 15 points on the evening.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright bounced back from a dormant first half, scoring all 11 of his points during the second half. The 5’10” guard went 3-4 from the field and 4-6 from the line in his return from a concussion.
Seven Wildcats drained one from behind the arc, including Dusan Ristic, who ended the night with seven points.
While they won the turnover battle 16-15, USC couldn’t catch a break on offense or defense. The Trojans shot 23% from the field and were out-rebounded by the Wildcats 50-34.
The Wildcats held USC to 12 points in the first ten minutes of the second half.
