Arizona football moves up to No. 20 in AP Top-25, No. 19 in Amway Coaches Poll

Following its 44-20 victory over Nevada on Saturday, Arizona football moved into the top 20 of both national polls.

The Wildcats are ranked No. 19 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25.

The AP poll features five other ranked Pac-12 teams: No. 6 USC, No. 10 UCLA, No. 12 Oregon and No. 21 Utah.

With Arizona and UCLA both currently ranked, there’s a good chance that the two teams will produce a top-25 matchup in Tucson in two weeks.

Up north, ASU is not ranked in either poll for the second straight week after struggling against FCS opponent Cal Poly.

Defending national champion Ohio State sits atop the AP Poll after defeating Hawaii over the weekend. Alabama, TCU and Michigan State round out the top five.

Auburn took the biggest fall this week, dropping from No. 6 to No. 18. The Tigers barely escaped Jacksonville State at home.
