    • Persona deadline approaching! The deadline for submissions to Persona, The UA’a undergraduate literary and art magazine is today. You can submit your work in the English office, Modern Languages building, Room 445.
  • Exhibit. Eyes Wide Open is an exhibit of 500 boots and shoes representing casualties of war from Arizona servicemen abroad. Starts 7 a.m. today, ends 3 p.m. Saturday. Free. The UA Mall
  • Sociology brown bag speaker series. “”Birthing Defensive Medicine: Medical Malpractice and Cesarean Sections in the United States.”” By Louise Roth, an assistant professor in the sociology department at the UA. Noon. Free. Social Sciences, 415
  • Interview workshop. Learn how to prepare yourself for interviews. Topics range from what questions to expect to professional dress and etiquette. Noon. Free. Student Union Memorial Center 411
  • Department of Media Arts student mixer. The Department of Media Arts is holding a mixer of students and professors. A light lunch will be offered. There will also be information about the three divisions in the department, the internship program, the Hanson Film Institute, scholarships, the Medici Awards and other opportunities. Noon. Free.
