Five-star recruit Aaron Gordon announced his commitment to the Arizona Wildcats at a press conference in Chicago where the McDonald’s All-American Game will be played tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.
Gordon is ranked as the No. 4 recruit in the nation by ESPN, and is expected to make an instant impact for the Wildcats next year. In all likelihood, he will play small forward for Arizona.
He told reporters at the press conference, “I hope Tucson is celebrating because I’m going to be a west coast Wildcat.”
Gordon is a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif.
Gordon averaged 21.5 points, 16.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 3.7 assists per game in his senior season.
