    Meet anthropologist and author Rebecca Cramer as she discusses her newest novel “”High Stakes at San Xavier,”” the third novel in the Linda Bluenight Series. The book signing will take place in the UofA Bookstore at 4:30 p.m.

    Media’s effect on justice

    This workshop considers a current issue and how it relates to social justice. How does media impact what we preceive as justice? This workshop incorporates the Media that Matters Film Festival to deepen the discussion and investigation of social justice. This workshop will be held in room 404 of the Student Union Memorial Center at 5 p.m.

    Aching joints discussion

    Dr. Margaret Miller, clinical assistant professor in the College of Medicine at The University of Arizona, will start the evening with a short talk titled “”Oh My Aching Joints! Advances in the Treatment of Joint Pain and Arthritis”” at this month’s science café. This science café is a casual forum for people to meet and discuss a particular science topic with a UA scientist in the relaxed atmosphere of a local restaurant. It will be held at Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant, 198 W. Cushing St., at 6 p.m.
