Arizona head football coach Rich Rodriguez will kick off the 2013 Wildcats’ football season with the return of his weekly radio show on KCUB 1290 AM Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The hour-long radio show hosted by UA radio play-by-play man Brian Jefferies can also be attended live. The show from Sir Veza’s on Wetmore Road at the Tucson Mall.
This is the second year Rodriguez and Jefferies have produced a weekly radio show. The two are expected to talk about everything from national sporting news to, of course, Friday’s season opener against NAU.
Fans can win tickets and an autographed football at each show.
For the first show, Rodriguez will likely address the current quarterback situation as well as give a brief game plan for Friday’s game versus NAU.
The weekly radio show will last until the end of the season.
