“Campus Cats: Brock Brown, Political science freshman”

Did you watch the Super Bowl last night?

    Yes, I did.

Where did you watch the Super Bowl?

I watched the Super Bowl at two different places. I watched one at my friend’s parents’ place and then I watched it with a group of friends at another house.

How did you feel about the outcome of the game?

It was a heartbreaker. I wanted the Cardinals to win. I really thought that they would win, but Pittsburgh deserved to win. It was a good played game.

    Where is your hometown?

    I’m from Washington, D.C.

How did you decide to come to the University of Arizona?

My dad is from California, so we spend a good amount of time on the West Coast. I love being out here. I’ve spent some time in Arizona and I like being in Arizona a lot.

What are some differences between life in Washington, D.C. and Arizona?

The obvious thing is the weather. It’s far warmer out here. At home it’s probably 20 degrees, but here it’s really nice and I really love it. I just think the West Coast is just so much more laid-back and more easy-going. People seem to speak more and have better manners out here than they do at home. On the East Coast it’s a lot more fast. You’ve got New York, you’ve got D.C., you’ve got Boston, you’ve got all these places where everything is so fast-paced and out here it’s just nice. I really like the people on the West Coast of the United States.
