Senior Dominique Lamb and freshman Tiffany Owens have earned All-Pacific 10 Conference honors, commissioner Tom Hansen announced yesterday. Lamb was an All-Pac-10 honorable mention, and Owens was named to the All-Freshman Team.
This is the third straight year Lamb, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker, has received honorable mention honors. She averaged 2.53 kills per game and led the Wildcats with 1.47 blocks per game this past season.
Owens, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter, smacked down 25 kills twice during the season and had two double-doubles. She was second on the team with 3.44 kills per game, including a team-high 3.88 mark in conference play. She posted double-figures in kills 20 times, including 11 of the final 12 matches.
