The UA National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health seminar series Conversations with Women about their Health presents “”Women and Heart Disease.”” Dr. Beth Malasky will speak about the Heart Truth, a national campaign to educate women about reducing their risks for heart disease. Movie. “”39 Pounds of Love.”” A remarkable man on a remarkable journey, Ami Ankilewitz has an extremely rare and often fatal disease that limits his physical growth to 39 pounds and his movement to one finger. Yet at 34, he outlives doctors’ predictions by 28 years and counting. Ami works as a 3D animator and continues to redefine notions of a “”limited”” life.
