Arizona Men’s Basketball Head Coach Sean Miller, left, yells at a referee while Assistant Coach Lorenzo Romar, right, watches in dismay during the first half of the UA-USC game on Saturday, Feb. 10 at McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz.

According to a report by ESPN, Arizona men’s basketball coach Sean Miller was caught on a wiretap by the FBI asking for $100,000 for the services of current freshman Deandre Ayton. The report, released earlier Friday evening, states Miller had multiple conversations with former agent of ASM, Christian Dawkins who is one of the lynch pins in the current FBI probe into college basketball.

It is not known, according to the report, whether money was in fact exchanged but does state Miller requested that any money should go through former assistant Emanuel ‘Book’ Richardson. Over 3,000 hours of conversations were confiscated by way of Dawkins phone.

Miller is the latest name to drop in the FBI scandal. Earlier today several former and current players were named as taking money to facilitate movement to agents, though no Wildcats were named.

There has been no statement by Arizona Athletics at this time.
