The Arizona women’s tennis team will launch a new season with a fresh addition to its coaching staff. UA women’s tennis head Vicky Maes announced the hiring of 25-year-old Ryan Stotland yesterday.
Maes said she is optimistic about Stotland’s addition to the program.
“”I’m very excited to have Ryan as our assistant,”” Maes said in a UA statement. “”His addition to the Arizona staff is an important piece in the future success of this program.””
Maes did not return calls from the Wildcat.
Stotland spent the last three years on the ATP Tour and served as a student assistant for the University of New Mexico men’s and women’s teams. What’s more, Stotland’s résumé includes a No. 3 position as a college player in the
