It’s fitting that a week of exam and homework hell is ending on Friday the 13th. Check out The Loft Cinema tonight for 12 hours of ghouls and ghosts. Otherwise, go see the big release of the weekend featuring Frylock, Master Shake and Meatwad.
“”Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters””
Despite its wordy title, this movie adaptation of the popular show is promising. Expect Aqua Teen newbies to leave the theater with their minds warped, while die-hard fans will argue about which character is the best. Obviously, it’s Meatwad.
Scream-O-Rama at the Loft
Tonight scream off those midterms with an entire Friday night’s worth of horror films. Admission is $12 and will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Films include “”Night of the Living Dead,”” “”Halloween”” and “”An American Werewolf in London.””
“”Perfect Stranger””
Halle Berry and Bruce Willis star in a new typical Hollywood thriller. Word is that Berry is pretty damn sexy in this flick.
“”Pathfinder””
Following in the footsteps of “”300,”” this is an ultra-violent flick sure to make your stomach turn. The plot, however, seems a bit goofy with its American Indians, Vikings and epic battles. Also note the amazingly perfect name of star Moon Bloodgood.
“”Redline””
This one kind of looks like “”The Fast and the Furious”” rehashed. Still, it might deliver some fast-pasted thrills without the bald dome of Vin Diesel. You probably won’t miss him as Swedish-Persian actress Nadia Bjorlin steals the show.
