A small fire at the Delta Chi fraternity house prompted a police response on Thursday night.
University of Arizona Police Department officers in the area of Delta Chi noticed smoke coming from the vicinity of the house, said Sgt. Filbert Barrera, UAPD public information officer. Officers then saw a couch burning on the patio of the house.
Since Delta Chi is no longer a recognized fraternity by the UA, the case is being handed over to the Tucson Police Department, Barrera said.
