Are you excited about Homecoming?
Yeah, the game and all that stuff. Yeah man. I’m not in a frat, but I plan on going somewhere.
What are your plans other than the game?
Um (pauses) I don’t know yet.
Really?
Well, like, I’m not in a frat but next year I’m going to rush, next semester. Maybe I’ll just go crash my roommate’s frat party or something like that.
(Laughs) OK, what party is that?
Pi Kappa Phi.
That’s cool. What are you looking forward to most about this weekend, the game or the parties?
The game.
Yeah, what do you think is going to happen at the game?
We’re playing Oregon, right?
That’s in two weeks. This weekend they play Washington State.
Oh, well we’re going to kill them. That puts us in a tie for first in the Pac-10.
No, because Oregon is still undefeated.
No, they have one loss but it’s not in the Pac-10. We’re undefeated in the Pac-10 though.
No, because (Arizona) lost to Washington already.
Oh shit, huh? I forgot about that. But if we beat Oregon that still leaves us in the running. I think we’re in second right now, right?
Yeah, the team still controls its own destiny.
Then that means we have a chance to win the Pac-10 and go to a BCS bowl for once, which would be nice.
Do you have any predictions for this game?
Washington State? Psh, we’ll score at least 40 points. That’s all I got.
