Courtney: Hi, my name is Courtney, and you’re On The Spot.
Clay Desmond: I’m on the what?
    C: Spot
    D: What does that mean?
C: It means I’m going to ask you brilliant questions and you are going to give me stupid answers.
D: Can you walk with me?
C: Yeah, let’s walk and talk.
D: Okay, what is your first question?
C: Did you audition to be a “”Real World”” contestant this weekend?
    D: No.
C: Well, too bad. You’re going to anyway.
    D: What?
C: Yeah, we’re going to have a faux-interview for a faux-“”Real World”” right here, right now.
D: What is this really for? Who are you?
C: A figment of your imagination who wants to know the craziest thing you’ve ever done.
D: Well…that probably would be…what? How can I just say the craziest thing I’ve ever done in my life? Are you serious? I don’t know. I’ve done a lot of stupid things. Is that the same thing as crazy? The stupidest thing I’ve ever done is probably go down a hill in La Jolla on this thing (holds up skateboard) and, like, beating traffic down and then, like, falling on my ass and then spending a whole bunch of time in the hospital.
C: Where are we walking to exactly?
D:YesI don’t know. I was walking with this kid.
C: Where are we walking to, This Kid?
D: Cochise? OK. What is question No.2?
C: What are two interesting things about yourself?
D: I like music, and I play music.
C: Do you think that is interesting?
D: To me that is interesting, yes.
C: What is your favorite band?
D:Ooh, that is really hard. I’d probably have to say the Pixies.
C: What do you think about Queen, the greatest band ever?
D:Yeah, they’re pretty good. I listen to them sometimes. I like them. Queen.
