    1 MARC deadline approaching

    The deadline to apply for Minority Access to Research Careers, an undergraduate biomedical research training program funded by the National Institutes of Health, is Feb. 1. The MARC program provides benefits, including financial support, during students’ last two years at the UA.     2 Hormone-free sour cream

    Chipotle is now serving sour cream in all of its restaurants that’s free of the synthetic hormone rBGH as part of its mission to serveÿ””Food with Integrity,”” according to Steve Ells, Chipotle’s founder, chairman and CEO. Recombinant bovine somatotropin, or rBGH, is a synthetic hormone given to dairy cattle to make them produce more milk.
