Valley fever symposium
A mini-symposium sponsored by UA Valley Fever Center for Excellence and the UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health will discuss “”Valley Fever: How much, what it costs and who cares.”” It will be held at the Arizona Cancer Center’s DuVal Auditorium at 11 a.m.
Transgender Week begins
Come to the UA Mall from noon to 1 p.m. to celebrate transgender students and allies for Transgender Awareness Week. Enjoy live music by local transgendered singer-songwriter Namoli Brennet, and check out resources for LGBTQA individuals from campus and Tucson community organizations.
Presentation workshop
Victoria Stefani of the Writing Skills Improvement Program will discuss “”Creating Successful Oral Presentations: From Proposals to Conference Papers.”” The workshop will take place in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, room S324 at 4 p.m.
