    Last student union fee forum today

    The last union fee forum will be held today at noon on the UA Mall for students to discuss and ask questions about the proposed student union fee.

    The mandatory fee would apply to all UA students and would add an extra $20 to student tuition in 2007. The amount would increase by $10 each following year until 2009, when the fee would reach the maximum $40.

    Students can vote on the fee in a special election tomorrow and Wednesday by logging onto the ASUA Web site: http://web.asua.arizona.edu/~asua/index.htm.

    Club looking to help students donate life

    The Students for Organ Donation at the UA will be holding a donor registration drive today through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the UA Mall.

    The club is seeking to raise awareness of the importance of being an organ donor as part of the second annual national student Donate Life week, April 10-16.

    The club works in conjunction with the Donor Network of Arizona and both hope to top last year’s drive, which registered more than 400 students.

    The club will provide a number of freebies for students who sign up, including pens and wristbands.

    Honors forum today for associate dean interview

    An honors student forum will be today from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the large conference room of the Slonaker House.

    Students can attend an interview for the associate dean of academic affairs in the Honors College. The candidate being interviewed today is Laura Berry, an associate professor of English.
