Back-to-School Poster Sale
It’s home away from home for a year and one way to make your dorm room or apartment a little more cozy: hit the Back to School Poster sale along the UA Mall from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Posters vary from movies, art, music, black and white photography and more.
UA Museum of Art Open House
The UA Museum of Art will showcase great art, including eight galleries of paintings, prints and sculpture spanning seven centuries through Friday, Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday Madness
There will be blasting music, games, giveaways and free Eegee’s to celebrate Monday Madness on the UA Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Student organization booths and local community groups will also be set up.
Wildcat Night at the Recreation Center
Get the up-to-date information on fitness, outdoor, intramural sports and swimming during the Wildcat Night at the Rec from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. Find out about the 46 sport clubs that are looking for players/members and more.
Mars Art Exhibit
An exhibit exploring Mars fiction and pop-culture is being displayed on the second floor of the Science-Engineering Library. The demonstration, which features appearances by Flash Gordon, Martian Manhunter and Marvin the Martian, also focuses on the novels of such authors as Edgar Rice Burroughs.and Ray Bradbury.
